Watercolour illustration
Personal work, 2015 - 2018
I am new to this media comparing to the time I started with acrylic paint. However, it's a common type of painting and easy to master, I have a significant time spent with it. I didn't plan on taking this media seriously when I was in primary school. However, since the day I took a break from Acrylic paint (year 6), I really got myself into the watercolour paint, even though it's just the paint I stole from my little brother that he abandoned them. I used cheap and print paper at first, which I was not satisfied since they were flimsy and fragile. Time goes by, I finally invest myself into buying more quality paints and papers, which then I started officially self-study how to master this media. I really enjoy how the paint just flows wherever the water goes. Unlike acrylic paint, watercolour isn't gooey blocks of colours.
